  The selected files in the book were formed from June 11, 1919 to February 25, 1949, and included 33 groups of 351 files.

  The number of files published for the first time in this book is large, accounting for 46.7% of all files included.

The content involved 91 files including the investigation and arrest of Communists by the Beijing Police Department in 1926 and the arrest of Wu Pingdi and others in March 1927.
