Games in the trees or with pieces of branches, charcoal drawing, picking chives… In Plan-les-Ouates, a few kilometers from Geneva, in Switzerland, children learn in contact with nature from an early age.

Their nursery is the forest.

Since 2019, this eco-nursery in the forest has been welcoming up to 18 children in the morning, and depending on weather conditions, from 30 months to 4 years old - the maximum age in Switzerland to go to nursery.

For the director, Viktorie Skvarkova, this concept, born in Sweden in the 1950s and which spread to Switzerland, allows the youngest to discover the world through the simple elements that surround them.

Our partner, Brut, went to spend a morning there.
