Nearly 200 French radio stations, public and private, are now available in a single app, called Radioplayer.

The objective: better adapt to recent developments such as connected speakers or car radios, and streaming sites.

Europe 1, Virgin Radio and RFM are available now on Radioplayer.

The figures are impressive: 200 radio stations, 600 Internet radio stations and thousands of podcasts are now grouped together in a single app: Radioplayer.

Public and private radio stations, including Europe 1, Virgin Radio and RFM, can therefore be listened to - and all their podcasts with - in an application, available everywhere, which puts the listener at the center.

With unique features: offer XXL content, recommendation algorithm, sound quality, fluidity of listening, listening on the go, etc.

Radioplayer France was officially launched live from the Bellemare studio in Europe 1 on Thursday morning.

Six radio groups are behind it: Lagardère News, M6 group radios, Indés Radios, Next RadioTV, NRJ Group and Radio France.

The Hexagon thus joins a network launched ten years ago in the United Kingdom and deployed in 14 countries.

An app accessible everywhere

This simple and free app is accessible everywhere: smartphones of course, connected speakers, but also in all vehicles equipped with Apple Carplay or Android Auto.

In addition, no other advertising layer than that present natively on each radio station is added.

Finally, Radioplayer will eventually integrate the HLS standard, which allows better listening quality.
