On April 8, the Ministry of Commerce held a regular press conference.

Gao Feng, the spokesperson of the Ministry of Commerce, introduced at the meeting that the total value of China’s service trade imports and exports in the first two months of this year was 713.98 billion yuan, a year-on-year decrease of 3.6%. The proportion increased.

Compared with the same period in 2019, the import and export of services fell by 14.7%, of which exports increased by 14.7% and imports fell by 30.5%.

Calculated in US dollars, the import and export of services in the first two months of this year was US$110.35 billion, an increase of 3.7% over the same period in 2020.

Among them, exports were US$51.83 billion, an increase of 31.1%; imports were US$58.52 billion, a decrease of 12.5%.
