Catherine Deneuve is back on the screens and reveals her love for ... collectible chickens, in an advertisement for the anniversary of the site Le Bon Coin.

In front of Eric Lartigau's camera, the actress lends herself to the game of the second degree.

The director tells this offbeat collaboration on Europe 1 on Thursday.

INTERVIEW

A return to the small screen.

Actress Catherine Deneuve is the star of an advertisement on the occasion of the fifteenth anniversary of the site Le Bon Coin, specializing in online classifieds.

Behind the camera: director Eric Lartigau, known for his feature films such as

La famille Bélier

or even

Who killed Pamela Rose?

He tells, Thursday on Europe 1, behind the scenes of this quirky collaboration.

"Catherine is someone who is above all intimately curious and who searches everywhere, in all fields", he confides.

"She accepted because we know each other well. We toured together ten years ago and that was an opportunity."

If the association of Bon Coin and Catherine Deneuve may surprise at first glance, Eric Lartigau explains that, on the contrary, it is a brand that it "reflects very well".

"Catherine, she is a collector, so she searches everywhere. You can see her in second-hand shops."

A collector of chickens

In the advertisement, a longer version of which has been posted online, Catherine Deneuve is presented as a collector of chickens, of all formats and materials.

A hobby that she also has in life.

"She actually told me about it. And suddenly, with the creatives, the writers, we rewrote and readapted the script in relation to that. It was interesting that she invited us to a potential home," explains director.

"It's not a fixation but it has a few," he jokes.

"She does not take herself seriously, Catherine, never. She does not like it. She likes the second degree more", assures Eric Lartigau.

"She is funny, she is lively and she put everyone in confidence, as much the actors as the team around. She is once again a very rich lady, who likes to give, to exchange, who is curious."
