A Chinese mother meets her long-lost daughter at her son's wedding

A Chinese woman was shocked on her son's wedding day, upon discovering that his bride was her long-lost daughter.

The woman became aware of the matter when she noticed a birthmark on the bride's hand in the accident in Suzhou, Jiangsu Province, China.

At the ceremony, she noticed a sign similar to that on the missing daughter's jaw, according to the British Mirror website.

After discovering the distinctive sign, the mother asked the bride's parents whether she had been adopted more than 20 years ago.

The family was baffled by the question because it was a secret for so long, but revealed that they had found a baby girl on the side of the road years ago, and raised her.

Reportedly, the missing daughter described the moment of meeting her mother as "happier than the wedding day itself."

The girl marries the young man, whom it turns out that the family adopted him.

The woman adopted a son after losing hope in finding her missing daughter, and searched for her for years, but without success.
