  China News Service, Macau, April 7 (Reporter Long Tuyou) The Macau Novel Coronavirus Response Coordination Center announced on the 7th that from 10 a.m. on April 9th, "students studying in Macau" and "people who often stay in Macau" Non-Macao residents" can make an appointment for vaccination against the new coronavirus.

  Dai Huahao, the vaccination coordinator of the Health Bureau, said that due to the sufficient number of appointments for the new crown vaccination in Macau, it has been decided to open the vaccination to students and non-local residents who are staying in Australia according to the law. They must live in Australia frequently, that is, more than half of them have been in the past 6 months. Only when you stay in Australia can you make an appointment for vaccination.

  As for the cost, all students studying in Macau are vaccinated free of charge; while non-Macau residents who frequently stay in Macau need to pay, and each dose of vaccine costs 250 patacas.

  The Response Coordination Center stated that as of 4 pm on the 7th, a total of 108009 people in Macau had made appointments for vaccinations against the new crown, of which 58,676 had been vaccinated.

Since the start of vaccination, a total of 232 adverse events have been notified, including 1 serious adverse event and 231 minor adverse events.

  As of April 7, Macau has had no local case reports (including asymptomatic infections) for 374 consecutive days, and no new cases have been reported for 60 consecutive days.
