Kumamoto Prefecture and Kumamoto City announced on the 7th that four new people were found to be infected with the new coronavirus.
As a result, a total of 3530 people have been confirmed infected in the prefecture.
The prefecture also revealed that two of them announced on the 7th and one announced by the 6th, a total of three people, were suspected of being infected with the mutant virus.
This brings the number of suspected mutant virus infections to 11 in the prefecture.
