The American Andrew Rosenthal tells about his new job in the magazine Vanity Fair, and Bulletin's responsible publisher Per Gudmundson confirms it for TT.

65-year-old Rosenthal was responsible for the opinion material in "The Times" for about eleven years, until 2018.

- What makes this possible is that it is not my job to figure out Swedish politics and it is not my job to influence the opinion pages, Rosenthal says to Vanity Fair.

- The purpose here is to set up a functioning news organization.

Appointed by a board member

The American claims to have been offered the position for three months, by board member Nicco Mele.

Bulletin has for a few turbulent months replaced a large part of the management and editorial staff.

In connection with several heavy dropouts two weeks ago, Per Gudmundson stepped into the role of responsible publisher.
