Sandrine Martin publishes "Chez toi", a touching comic strip, without pathos and very documented on a friendship between a midwife and a pregnant Syrian exile.

Publicity

A priori, nothing predisposed Sandrine Martin to become an illustrator and comic book author.

Still, there's a lot of her, and arguably a lot of us on this album as well.

A comic strip which tells of the meeting between two women: Mona, a Syrian exile who took refuge in Greece with her husband;

and Monica, the midwife who will accompany her in her pregnancy, her administrative procedures until she becomes her friend.

A solidly documented story, a moving mirror game without pathos, two crossed destinies drawn in blue, red, orange pencils.

"Chez toi", released tomorrow by Casterman editions.

To tell us about it, the designer Sandrine Martin and the Italian anthropologist

Vanessa Grotti

, who signs the afterword of the book.
