is an extremely disturbing little gem that hangs in your head for a very long time.
The bloody adventures of a somewhat peculiar hired killer fascinate from the first scenes.
A strange machine allows this young woman to slip into the body of an innocent person to change her appearance before going to kill her prey.
Icy force
“She has to kill herself to be able to return to her own body,” says Brandon Cronenberg.
It turns out badly when she bumps into someone who is as strong as her.

and therefore knew what to expect when I proposed this ruthless character to her.
She constantly surprised me by going even further than I imagined.
The actress brings icy strength to a fascinating role.
She is more disturbing in front of her husband and her son than with guns in hand or when she receives orders from her supervisor played by Jennifer Jason Leigh.
Enemy of lukewarm water
It is a real nightmare that Brandon Cronenberg proposes to live in this mixture of thriller and science fiction to be reserved for an informed public.
"I give myself no limits in terms of sex and violence," he insists.
I want to offer the viewer an original experience.
We cannot blame the filmmaker for sparing anyone.
Brutal executions, painful metamorphoses and a surprising love scene are present in this macabre poem which sometimes turns into experimental cinema to better manhandle us.
"Nothing is more boring than lukewarm water, that of films which leave indifferent", insists Brandon Cronenberg.
Possessor
clearly does not fit into this category.
