　　Recalling the scene of the accident, Xu Youyu's memory is still fresh.

It was about 5 o'clock in the morning on August 18, 2019. Xu Youyu saw a thrilling scene near the door of his home. An old man was hit by a speeding farm tricycle. The old man fell to the ground and lost consciousness.

　　Xu Youyu recalled that he asked the tricycle driver to rush the elderly to the hospital, but the driver was indifferent.

Later, the driver planned to drive away. Xu Youyu grabbed the tricycle and blocked it, but was towed. The driver also smashed his hand with an iron rod to try to get rid of him.

After being dragged for more than 200 meters and repeatedly beaten, Xu Youyu was finally thrown out of the car, and the driver drove over him and drove away from the scene.

　　In the accident, Xu Youyu suffered multiple severe contusions all over his body, fractured and dislocated his tail vertebrae.

After the incident, the driver escaped and lost the news and was chased by the Yueqing police online.

Xu Youyu paid for the medical expenses for hospitalization because of the delay in the suspect's arrival.

After being discharged from the hospital, he underwent rehabilitation for nearly six months.

　　Today, Xu Youyu's injury has not healed.

Once a fitness expert and mountain climbing enthusiast, he can't even do heavy work now.

　　Xu Youyu's relatives and friends believed that at that time Xu Youyu would not be injured as long as he was "not out of his head".
