Launched at the beginning of February in Lyon, the mutual aid platform “1CabasPour1Etudiant” was quick to develop in the four corners of France.

Since the end of March, the service has now been offered in all major student cities in France.

The principle is simple: put in contact families and students in difficulty, living nearby, in order to re-establish social links over time and offer them regularly (without imposed frequency) a few shopping baskets.

No minimum sum is also required.

Bus tickets, train tickets can also be slipped into the tote bags.

Already 700 students from Lyon have benefited from it

The platform was a real victim of its success from its launch.

In six weeks, the site made it possible to connect 700 students with as many sponsors.

"That says a lot about the needs and the spirit of solidarity of each one", observes Marion Dolisy Galzy, one of the two founders.

Registrations are made on the platform www.1cabaspour1etudiant.fr.
