Miyagi Prefecture and Sendai City announced on the 6th that it was confirmed that 103 new people were infected with the new coronavirus in the prefecture.
Of these, Sendai City has already announced that 67 people have been confirmed to be infected and one of the previously infected people has died.
The cumulative total of infected people in Miyagi prefecture was 6661, including those who had already recovered, and 36 people died.
