30 people are charged with serious crime and the hearings in Södertörn District Court are planned to last until midsummer.

One of the most notable parts of the prosecution is the kidnapping of an artist - planned and carried out by other artists.

SVT Nyheter has previously received information that a motive has been jealous of the kidnapper's success - but also money.

Gold chains and a watch have been stolen and he has been demanded in the millions.

"Expresses itself specifically"

Since the kidnapped artist did not want to participate in the investigation, the police have used parts of his texts, something that Dagens Nyheter previously reported.

- In the preliminary investigation where he has talked briefly with police personnel, he has said that this (kidnapping) has not happened.

The texts help to shed light on the fact that it has actually happened - as he writes about it, says crime inspector Torsten Alm.

How do you know something happened then?

Because it's a work?

- Because they are published afterwards and he specifically expresses that everyone can be kidnapped, says Torsten Alm.

Music as a symbol

Amir Rostami, a criminologist, says that you can never be completely sure of the authenticity, but that it is not surprising that lyrics are used.

- It's kind of like finding a diary, it can also be fiction, I have understood it as using it to show relationships, he says and continues:

- Some groups have their own rappers and the music works as a means of communication, it can have the same symbolism as motorcycle vests have for motorcycle gangs.

Denies crime

The accused rappers are suspected of having tricked the plaintiff into accompanying them by saying that they would go to a studio.

Torsten Alm believes that the Vårbynätverket would have had more difficulty in carrying out the crime if several people had not been in the same industry.

- Without the rappers, it would have been much more difficult to implement, it might not have even happened, he says.

The three rappers who are charged, including with kidnapping, and stamping with kidnapping, respectively, deny the crimes they are charged with.
