A 78-year-old priest was arrested on suspicion of attempted murder for traveling nearly a kilometer with a woman in traffic trouble on a national highway in Kasama City, Ibaraki Prefecture, on the hood of a car.

The person arrested was Suspect Tashiro Nukiaki (78), a priest in Kasama City, Ibaraki Prefecture.
According to police, at around 0:30 pm on the 4th, a 30-year-old woman who had a traffic problem was suspected of attempting murder, saying that she had traveled nearly a kilometer while suddenly stopping or meandering while riding on the hood.
The woman was not injured.
According to the investigation so far, a woman who had a dispute over the distance between cars stood in front of Tashiro's car waiting for a traffic light and made a sudden start.
The police are investigating the details of the investigation, saying, "There is no doubt that I ran with a woman on the hood, but I do not intend to kill it."
