Shanghai is currently using a domestically-made inactivated vaccine against the new coronavirus, which requires two doses throughout the course.
Foreigners who have participated in Shanghai social security medical insurance enjoy the same treatment as other insured Chinese citizens.
Foreigners who are not insured are vaccinated at their own expense, and the cost is 100 yuan per dose.
