During the Ching Ming Dynasty, Chen Jinxi and Zeng Zhaofeng's family met early in the morning to go to a tomb of 14 unknown Red Army martyrs buried on the mountainside for sacrifice.

In the forests of Jiahuaping Village, Hongtangying Yao Township, Dao County, Yongzhou, Hunan, there are 14 unnamed martyrs of the Chinese Workers and Peasants Red Army who died here in 1934.

In order to cherish the memory of the martyrs, Chen Jinxi and Zeng Zhaofeng of Chuhuaping Village followed the wishes of their fathers and guarded the tombs of the martyrs.

Today, 1987, three generations of their two families are still offering sacrifices to these unknown martyrs.
