Fukui Prefecture announced on the 1st that it was confirmed that six men and women in their 20s and 80s in Tsuruga City and Oi Town were newly infected with the new coronavirus.
The total number of infected people in the prefecture is 595.
Fukui Prefecture has issued an infection spread warning by the deadline of 12th of this month, calling for thorough countermeasures.
