Guangji Bridge, also known as Xiangzi Bridge, is located on the Hanjiang River outside the east gate of the ancient city of Chaozhou in Guangdong. It is known as "the earliest open-close bridge in the world".
The pontoons are connected by wooden boats, which are assembled and dismantled every morning and evening to facilitate the navigation of passing ships.
