Kagawa Prefecture and Takamatsu City announced on the 31st that it was confirmed that 28 men and women in Takamatsu City and Marugame City were newly infected with the new coronavirus.
Thirteen of these are close contacts or contacts who have been confirmed to be infected.
The number of infected people announced on the 1st was 13 on the 30th, and exceeded double digits for the second consecutive day.
Infection was confirmed in 836 people in Kagawa prefecture.
