After there was evidence of the wedding of a couple from two large Arab families, the Berlin police went on a larger mission.
150 emergency services observed and accompanied the planned celebrations for several hours on Tuesday, said a police spokeswoman on Wednesday.

Police officers were at addresses in Neukölln, Buckow and Mariendorf, the spokeswoman said. Ultimately, the big celebration did not take place in these three places, it was said. Apparently, there was fear of a big party with violations of the Corona rules. The police said that it was not possible to say whether the celebration was actually canceled.
