Toyama Prefecture announced that it has been newly confirmed that a total of three men in their teens to 40s living in Toyama City are infected with the new coronavirus.
A total of 936 people have been confirmed to be infected in Toyama Prefecture.
The prefecture also revealed that two of the people confirmed to be infected later this month were newly infected with the mutant virus.
This brings the total number of people confirmed to be infected with the mutant virus in the prefecture to eight.
