Dubai Islamic Bank, “Al-Faraj Fund” and two donors have guaranteed payment of the sum of one million dirhams for the financial case arising from citizenship (Hamda), from the people of determination.
Dubai Islamic Bank guaranteed payment of 343 thousand dirhams, while the "Faraj Fund" paid 552 thousand dirhams, and a donor guaranteed payment of 100,000 dirhams, while the latter ensured the payment of 5,000 dirhams.
The "Faraj Fund" made a settlement with the beneficiary in the amount of the financial case resulting from it from two million 300 thousand dirhams to one million dirhams.
The “hotline” has coordinated with the bank’s management, donors, and the Department of Islamic Affairs and Charitable Activities in Dubai to transfer the donation amount to the court to finalize the financial case procedures arising from it.

He added: “We value the newspaper’s role through the (hotline) in raising such humanitarian issues, which translates the policy of humanitarian charitable work, and we thank the management of Dubai Islamic Bank and the donors for paying the remaining amount for the financial issue resulting from citizenship, and this solidarity between individuals and institutions contributed to relieving their distress. ».

The citizen (Hamda - 45 years) told her story to "Emirates Today", saying that she suffers from polio since birth. Despite this, she lived a happy life with her family members, and she got married, and she was the greatest support for her husband and only child.
She added that she lives with medical crutches that help her to walk, began a stable life, got married, gave birth to a single child, and was working in a government agency with a salary of 19 thousand and 500 dirhams, and her husband works for a salary of 3000 dirhams in a private agency, and 10 years ago, she agreed with her husband to reside A commercial project, which is a car rental shop, to improve their income.
She indicated that she obtained a loan from a bank of 900,000 dirhams, part of which was allocated to her treatment, and the other part to the commercial project, and after the opening of the project, her husband took over its management for three years, and finally the project failed, they lost everything, and their dreams were lost, and as a result of defaulting in repayment Installments, debt accumulation, and moving from one bank to another. The loan and interest before settlement reached 2.3 million dirhams.
And she continued that before losing the project, she was exposed to a health emergency, represented in her falling into the workplace, which led to her foot fracture and the worsening of her health condition, so she had to use part of the loan for treatment, and she tried to persist in paying the monthly installments of 11,000 dirhams for a period of six years. After that, she made a settlement with the bank's management, and the installments were reduced to 9,500 dirhams to continue paying it for four years, but she left work due to problems and was unable to pay the installments.
