Following the spread of the new coronavirus, Okinawa Prefecture has requested that the business hours of restaurants and other facilities be shortened to 9 pm in 20 municipalities on the main island of Okinawa, including Naha City, for three weeks from April 1st. I decided.

In Okinawa Prefecture, the infection of the new coronavirus has spread through eating and drinking places since the 1st of this month, when the prefecture's own state of emergency was lifted.

In response to this, the prefecture held a meeting of the countermeasures headquarters on the 29th, and for three weeks from April 1st to 21st, restaurants etc. Decided to request a reduction in business hours.

According to the request, business hours are until 9 pm, alcoholic beverages are served until 8 pm, and a cooperation fee of 840,000 yen will be paid to the business operator who responded to the request during all periods.

Until February 28, the prefecture had requested shortening of business hours by the prefecture's own state of emergency, but it was forced to request again in just one month.

The prefecture will also request the citizens of the prefecture to refrain from going out from April 1st, except when necessary to maintain their livelihood and health.
