  At 5:40 on the 27th, the Fuzhou-registered aquatic product carrier "Fenghai 78" and the Ningde-registered cargo ship "Fengyuan 68" collided in the waters near Jigong Mountain, Sanduao, Ningde, causing "Fengyuan 68" The ship sank and seven people fell into the water, and one of them was rescued.

  At 18:00 on the 27th, a body was found in the waters where the incident occurred, which was later confirmed as one of the missing crew members.

Aiming at the five crew members who lost contact, professional rescue, official, and social forces at all levels are still carrying out search and rescue operations in the on-site waters. The coastal towns of Jiaocheng District and Xiapu County have simultaneously carried out coastal and coastal islands and reef searches.

  The personnel of the Ningde Maritime Safety Administration stated that after the accident, the bureau set up a shipwreck salvage and disposal team and coordinated with the Shanghai Salvage Bureau to send experts to guide the handling of the sunken ship.

Through multi-beam scanning surveys in the waters of the incident, the location of the shipwreck of "Fengyuan 68" has been initially determined. Temporary traffic control continues to be implemented in the waters of the incident, and search and rescue operations are still underway.

  It is understood that the "Fenghai 78" is a Fuzhou-registered aquatic product carrier with a length of 54.9 meters. It entered the port with no load at the time of the incident. There were 10 crew members on board; the "Fengyuan 68" was a Ningde-registered dry cargo ship with a length of 53.8 meters. At the time of the incident, it carried 900 tons of raw steel out of the port to Jieyang, Guangdong, with a total of 7 crew members on board.
