Nara Prefecture and Nara City announced on the 28th that it was confirmed that 37 new people were infected with the new coronavirus in the prefecture.
The prefecture also announced that a man in his 80s in Oji Town, who had been confirmed to be infected, had died.
A total of 3579 people have been confirmed infected in Nara Prefecture, and 53 people have died.
