A woman and a child were found shot dead in a forest in Austria on Sunday.
The police are investigating a violent crime, a spokesman said.
The car was found on a dirt road in Mistelbach around 60 kilometers north of Vienna.
The child was four or five years old.
It was initially unclear whether the car belonged to the woman or someone else.
The "Kronen Zeitung" had previously reported on the corpse find.
