Bono has just released an animated series dubbed

Pandemica

in an attempt to draw attention to inequalities in access to the vaccine against Covid-19 around the world.

An initiative launched by the artist's charity ONE and for which he called on a host of celebrities.

Indeed, Penelope Cruz, David Oyelowo, Kumail Nanjiani, Laura Marano, Phoebe Robinson, and Michael Sheen are among the personalities who have lent their voices to characters from this animated series whose broadcast began on the foundation's YouTube channel.

End the pandemic

“The bustling world of

Pandemica

shows a simple truth: Where you live shouldn't determine whether you can get those vital injections,” Bono said in a statement relayed by The

Hollywood Reporter

.

“Even though many of us are waiting our turn, we need to get involved to make sure that billions of people around the world are not left behind.

This is obviously the right thing to do, but it is also the only way out of this pandemic for all of us.

If the vaccine is not distributed everywhere, this pandemic will not disappear, ”added the singer of U2.
