Just over half of the thirty or so regional and state art galleries and museums that Kulturnyheterna has spoken to plan to open after Easter, including the East Asian Museum in Stockholm.

The rules that apply are the same as for shops and gyms - ten square meters per person and a total of a maximum of 500 visitors.

-We have waited and waited.

That we can now open again for a limited crowd feels very nice, says Joakim Skoglund, communications manager at the World Culture Museums.

The Modern Museum in Stockholm has opened its doors on March 25, for the first time since the beginning of November.

- My mother, who turns 97 in a month, will not get any more chances to see Giacometti, says Rutger Smith who is visiting a museum with her mother.

Infectious opening

Malmö Art Gallery has been closed for four months.

After, among other things, the green light from the city of Malmö, they can once again open the exhibition with the artist Ceija Stojka to the public.

-It is a fantastic opportunity to come here and be inspired by the power woman Ceija Stojka was, says Nadia Izzat, unit manager at Malmö Art Gallery.

Olov Amelin, CEO of Jamtli in Östersund, says that they will also open on Easter Eve.

-There are good opportunities for us to open in an infection-proof way.

This means a lot to the people of Öresund.
