The British judiciary refused to grant Hollywood star Johnny Depp the right to a trial of appeal, after losing the case against "The Sun", which described him as a violent husband against his ex-wife, Amber Heard.

And after a trial that revealed embarrassing details about his life, the "Pirates of the Caribbean" star lost, on November 2, the lawsuit he had filed against the "News Group Newspears", the publisher of "The Sun" newspaper, for defamation.

In April 2018, according to the actress, the newspaper published an article in which she talked about the actor's abuse of his ex-wife 14 times, accusations that Johnny Depp denies.

Johnny Depp went directly to the appeals court.

But to extract the right to a second trial, Depp's defense attorneys had to rely on new evidence.

Based on this, Depp's attorney, lawyer Andrew Caldecott, last Thursday accused Amber Heard (34 years) of lying in saying that she donated to associations the sum of seven million dollars that he received following the completion of the divorce, with the aim of arousing sympathy with her.

But News Group News Spears representative Adam Wolansky denied the accusations.

The Sun newspaper welcomed the decision, praising the "courageous testimony" that Amber Heard showed before the court, despite "repeated attempts to silence her from the perpetrator of the facts."

In the wake of the verdict, which he described as "surreal", the 57-year-old American actor was forced to give up his role in the upcoming film in the "Fantastic Beasts" series, based on the stories of writer J.
