The health expert of the SPD Karl Lauterbach called for a hard lockdown in the ARD midday magazine.
"We have to get stability in and we won't get this stability without us now significantly tightening the lockdown," said Lauterbach on Thursday in view of the easing debate that Saarland Prime Minister Tobias Hans had opened today.
"You have to be honest, I see no other way than to work here with a curfew from 8 p.m., at least for a limited time for two weeks".
