The cotton planting area in Yaha Town is about 280,000 mu, of which about 265,000 mu of machine-harvested cotton. The planting work is expected to be completed before April 15.
The total area of sown cotton in Kuqa City is 1.55 million mu, of which machine-harvested cotton is 1.25 million mu. It is expected that all planting work will be completed before May 1.
In recent years, the level of modernization, intelligence, and informatization of agricultural machinery in Kuqa City has been continuously improved. Farmers have mechanized operations in the whole process of land preparation, planting, plant protection, and harvesting. The application of science and technology is boosting the high-quality development of the local cotton industry.
