According to a survey, only a minority of Germans consider the latest federal and state lockdown resolutions to be too sharp.

Only 32 percent think that closings went too far.

This was the result of a Forsa quick poll on behalf of the broadcasters RTL and n-tv.

Another third (32 percent) say the tightening of the corona rules is appropriate, for the remaining third (31 percent), however, the measures are not far-reaching enough.

After tough negotiations, the federal and state governments agreed early Tuesday morning that the general lockdown in Germany should be extended until April 18.

In addition, there should be additional restrictions, such as closed supermarkets, from Maundy Thursday in the next week up to and including Easter Monday.

Vacation in your own country, as a draft resolution promised it on Monday, is off the table.

But this has hardly any impact on the plans of the Germans.

Only 22 percent of the Germans surveyed want to change their plans for the Easter holidays.

For the majority of 76 percent, the additional rest days have no influence.
