On March 22, the Wanglang area of the Giant Panda National Park in Mianyang, where there was continuous spring snow, was cloudy and fine. The resident staff returned from patrol and found about 50 Sichuan golden monkeys moving from west to east on a hillside in the reserve.
The little guys are fighting with each other, climbing and running like a race.
The Sichuan golden snub-nosed monkey is an animal of the primate family and is a national first-class protected animal.
The feeding habits of golden monkeys are very mixed, but they are mainly plant foods, and they eat 118 kinds of main plants.
This season they mainly collect in Wanglang: spores, branch buds, flower buds and petals of wood pulp, rhododendron, etc. of plants such as bird cherry, rowan, oak, maple, holly, wild cherry, and paper mulberry.
