The online magazine Bulletin has been storming in recent weeks.

It was first discovered that the site had plagiarized about twenty articles, then a conflict flared up between the company board and parts of the editorial staff.

Editorial members have, among other things, criticized the board, which they believe has tried to influence Bulletin's journalistic content.

Sharp criticism of the owners

Now six heavy writers announce that they are leaving the newspaper.

The message is given in a post on Facebook signed by Ivar Arpi, acting editor-in-chief and responsible publisher, Alice Teodorescu, political editor-in-chief, Fredrik Ekelund / Marisol M, cultural director, Susanna Birgersson, editorial writer, Nina Lekander, cultural writer and cultural editor Michael Economou.

Sharp criticism is directed at the majority owners Pontus Tholin, CEO, and Tino Sanandaji, and at the chairman of the board, Atta Tarki.

The authors believe that the owners do not respect the constitution's opinion on what publishing means and that they have not infringed on editorial integrity.

This has led to employees resigning and two of the founders, Thomas Gür and Paulina Neuding, dropping out of the project.

"Taken honor and glory by the editorial staff"

In the Facebook post you write:

"In public, Sanandaji has hung out individual employees, taken honor and glory from the newsroom, and spoken disparagingly of, among others, the editor-in-chief and the political editor-in-chief.

Internally, a bullying campaign is underway by the editor-in-chief / responsible publisher, which has now also been leaked to the media.

The CEO and CTO boast in joint internal channels that they do not respect the editor-in-chief and responsible publishing.

They are openly looking for replacements.

It is not possible to be editor-in-chief under these circumstances.

The situation is unsustainable. "

It is also written that the board has not complied with the editorial board members' demands for "a professional management of the organization".

Kulturnyheterna is looking for Ivar Arpi and Bulletin's owners.
