As reported by several American sites, including Deadline, the American channel Showtime is in the process of developing a series on the riots on the Capitol.

On January 6, the seat of the United States Congress was violently stormed by supporters of Donald Trump, contesting the victory of Joe Biden in the presidential elections.

This three-part miniseries will be directed by Billy Ray and Shane Salerno, the creators of

The Comey Rule

.

Released in 2020, this series was an adaptation of the memories of James Comey, director of the FBI, and retraced the election of Donald Trump and the first months of his presidency.

An end of the presidency from different points of view

Currently untitled, this new series should focus on the last days of the Trump administration, and on these violent riots whose images have toured the world.

It would also address different points of view, those of Democrats and Republicans, as well as those of pro and anti Trump.

No release date has been announced at this time.
