To commemorate the 111th anniversary of the opening of "Nijo Castle Studio", the oldest movie studio in Kyoto, a screening of "Tadaomizo" produced from the Meiji era to the Taisho era was held at Nijo Castle.

The screening at Nijo Castle, a World Heritage Site in Kyoto, is a re-edited version of three "Tadaomizo" movies produced from the Meiji era to the Taisho era.

Kyoto was once called "Hollywood of the East" and was known as a movie city, and the screening was held to commemorate the 111th anniversary of the opening of the oldest movie studio, "Nijo Castle Studio".

Since the movie at that time was monochrome and had no sound, on the 21st, two benshi activists, who were the narrators, stood beside the screen and added lines and narration to the video.

In the scene of the slaughter, the violent performances on the piano and drums were also rushed, and the people who visited the expression were drawn in.

A man in his 50s said, "I thought it might be boring at first, but it was dynamic and very fresh."

Ichiro Kataoka, a benshi, said, "I want you to feel the youthful passion and energy of old filmmakers."
