Nara Prefecture announced on the 21st that it was confirmed that eight new people were infected with the new coronavirus in the prefecture.

The prefecture also announced that a woman in her 90s in Gose City, who had been confirmed to have been infected and was being treated, has died.

There are 3434 people confirmed to be infected in the prefecture.
