Faced with criticism, the government already forced to review its copy?

The government "is considering a simplification of the certificate system" allowing residents of confined departments to go out during the day up to 10 km from their homes, in which proof of address could replace the certificates, said Matignon this Saturday at AFP.

"The idea is to allow the French to use an identity document or proof of address instead of a certificate to justify the fact that they are well 10 km from their place of residence", a- we explained, specifying that a more detailed communication would follow.

Towards a simplification?

"For the French who have an identity document which does not show the correct address of residence, or who are confined in a place for which they do not have proof of residence (type EDF invoice), it would always be possible to use the travel certificate system, ”continued Matignon.

Twenty-one million inhabitants, including the twelve million in the Paris region, have been subject since Saturday for at least four weeks to restrictions much lighter than the first national confinement of a year ago.

They are spread over sixteen departments (the eight in Île-de-France, the five in Hauts-de-France, Seine-Maritime, Eure and Alpes-Maritimes).

Our dossier on containment

The exit certificate relaunched on this occasion lists fifteen reasons for leaving on two pages, valid within a radius of 10 km around the home for some (walking, taking your dog out, etc.) and 30 km for others (shopping).

Only some of these reasons (seeing a doctor, taking your dog out, etc.) are accepted between 7 p.m. and 6 a.m., a curfew period for all of mainland France.
