　　On March 20, a press conference on the archaeological achievements of the Sanxingdui site, a major project of "Archaeological China", was held at the Sanxingdui Museum in Guanghan, Sichuan, and the important archaeological discoveries and research results of the Sanxingdui site in Guanghan, Sichuan were announced.

　　Zhu Jiake, Secretary of the Party Leadership Group and Executive Deputy Director of the Sanxingdui Museum, said that the Sanxingdui Museum was established through the discovery of the "Sacrificial Pit" No. 1 and 2.

Six "sacrifice pits" were newly excavated this time, and the new building of Sanxingdui Museum will be prepared. Currently, proposals have been solicited globally, with 57 top domestic and foreign design teams participating in the evaluation.

Through the final selection, construction of the new museum will officially start this year, and it is expected that a museum with the symbol of China's diverse civilizations will be built in the next few years.

Zhu Jiake said that the Sanxingdui Museum will establish an open cultural relics restoration center that combines the restoration and display of cultural relics. "This should be the first national museum and it is expected to open to the public in April this year."
