• Coronavirus: Guide to interpreting a Covid-19 test

In the expectation of resuming in Spain the vaccination against the

coronavirus

with AstraZeneca after ruling out its direct relationship with the cases of thrombosis, political leaders of counterpart countries such as Boris Johnson, Jean Castex and Mario Draghi have staged their support for the preparation of the Swedish pharmaceutical laboratory- British publicly vaccinated while Angela Merkel said she is willing to receive the preparation as soon as it is her turn.

Quite a gesture before a citizenry waiting to be vaccinated.

07.49 Europe differs in age recommendation to vaccinate with AstraZeneca

The

Astrazeneca vaccine

against the coronavirus has been re-injected but there are changes in the groups that receive it.

For example, France has decided that it should only be applied to those over 55 years of age, since the cases of thrombosis whose relationship with the vaccine is being investigated occur in recipients under that age.

In Spain, on the other hand, before the suspension it was being administered to those under 55, although on Monday, after the meeting of the Interterrirorial Health Council, it will be decided to which age groups it will be administered again from Wednesday.

Boris Johnson, Jean Castex and Mario Draghi have staged their support for the preparation of the Swedish-British pharmaceutical laboratory by being publicly vaccinated while Angela Merkel has announced that she is willing to receive the AstraZeneca vaccine when it is her turn.

07.45 Spain registers a rebound in cases while waiting for news about the AstraZeneca vaccine

While waiting for Health to re-publish the data on the evolution of the pandemic on Monday, several communities have reported an upturn in infections in recent hours, reports Efe.

Among the communities that point to the most infections are Aragon, Catalonia, Navarra, the Balearic Islands and Galicia.

Meanwhile, the expectation of resuming vaccination with AstraZeneca is still pending after ruling out its direct relationship with detected cases of thrombosis.

07.30 China adds four new cases of coronavirus from abroad

China registered four new imported cases of coronavirus on Friday and none local after detecting the first such infection in more than a month the day before, the National Health Commission reported today.

Cases from abroad were counted in the provinces of Canton (2, south), Jiangsu (1, east) and Zheijang (1, east).

A suspicious imported case was also registered in the city of Shanghai.

There were no new deaths, nor did serious cases increase, while 465 close contacts of those infected were no longer under medical observation.

Active cases from abroad stand at 160, in addition to four suspects, none of them serious, among whom no deaths have been recorded.

In total there are 162 active cases, none serious, out of the 90,087 registered since the beginning of the pandemic, which caused 4,636 deaths, reports Efe.
