China News Service, Hohhot, March 19th (Reporter Li Aiping) The sandstorm that was originally thought to have disappeared, I didn't expect to "return the carbine."

On the 19th, the western cities of the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region once again flooded with yellow sand.

In the early morning of March 19, Wuhai, a city in western Inner Mongolia, encountered a sandstorm again. The sky was full of yellow sand and there were few pedestrians on the road.

The local meteorological department said that early in the morning, with strong winds, the concentration of sand and dust increased rapidly and visibility decreased. The minimum visibility at the local airport was 630 meters.

According to the official introduction, there are still winds of magnitude 5 to 6 and gusts of magnitude 7 to 8 in the city during the day, and the temperature begins to drop.

At present, the city has issued the yellow dust storm warning for the first time, and provided the public with weather services for the first time through WeChat service groups and mobile phone text messages.

The sandstorm in Wuhai City is not unique.

Bayannaoer, also a city in western Inner Mongolia, increased the wind on the same day, accompanied by blowing sand or floating dust. There were 8 strong winds in the local area, and visibility was low.

The meteorological department predicts that the windy and sandy weather in the city will continue into the evening, and the temperature will drop by about 8 ℃ after the strong wind.

In response to severe weather such as strong winds, cold waves, and sandstorms, the city's meteorological station has issued three warnings in a row.

The reporter learned from the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region Meteorological Observatory that the Alxa League, Bayannaoer City, Wuhai City, and Ordos City may be affected by gale within 24 hours. At present, the Inner Mongolia Meteorological Observatory has issued a gale blue warning signal.

The "returning carbine" of the sandstorm in Inner Mongolia has long been "reminder".

According to previous media reports, recently, due to the influence of cold air and strong winds, sand and dust storms have appeared in many parts of the north, and the blue sand and dust storm warning of the Central Meteorological Observatory is in effect.

According to meteorological monitoring, the cold air coming on the 19th and 20th may bring another dusty weather.
