The Ministry of Defense has announced that the Chinese Navy's state-of-the-art destroyer has passed through the Tsushima Strait in Kyushu.

The Renhai-class guided-missile destroyer, called the "Type 055" by the Chinese military, is a state-of-the-art destroyer equipped with high-performance radar.



Commissioned last January, it is the largest destroyer of the Chinese Navy.
