Upon the announcement of the new confinement in the Alpes-Maritimes, the princely government of Monaco will maintain the health measures in force since January 2.

Monegasques and people authorized to travel to Monaco will therefore have to respect, for an additional fifteen days, the curfew from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m., compulsory teleworking and respect for barrier gestures, including the wearing of a compulsory mask in all places and permanently, including throughout the public space.

For people who wish to stay in Monaco, it is still necessary to present a hotel reservation and a PCR test of less than 72 hours.

As a reminder, apart from Monegasque residents, only people working in the Principality and those living in neighboring municipalities, as well as Èze and Menton, can enter the territory with the presentation of the French exemption certificate.

Reinforced border controls

The Principality indicates that in "coherence and in solidarity with the system set up in the neighboring department to fight against the spread of the virus, reinforced controls will be operated from this Saturday at the Franco-Monegasque border for the next four weeks in order to 'avoid an influx of people who do not have a valid reason to go to Monaco ”.

Our dossier on containment

The princely government also recommends avoiding staying in the sixteen French departments affected by the confinement.
