The Châteaulin gendarmerie school (Finistère) has been hit hard by the coronavirus epidemic.

Since the end of February, 84 students have tested positive out of the 652 in the establishment, we learned from the school.

The students who tested positive were "placed in isolation", while the negative students from the four companies were confined in their building "in a preventive manner," said the school, stressing that none of the executives supervising the students did not 'had on the other hand tested positive for Covid-19.

"On February 26, we had a first positive case in one of our student companies and a cluster has developed", explained the establishment.

The hundred or so students from this company have been tested and 35 residents have tested positive for Covid-19.

"This cluster is now under control", assured the school.

But from March 12, clusters were identified within three other student companies.
