Speaking of Grandma Zhao's performance on the day of the exam, her Rubik's Cube teacher Pan Lihuan looked "thrilling" in the audience.

According to Pan Lihuan, the exam for Rubik's Cube B rank is already at the professional level, and the difficulty of the exam is relatively high. The pass rate of all candidates is only 3%.

"Grandma Zhao was not the oldest in the exam that day. There were also candidates in her 80s at other levels, but the exam was for the lower ranks. Grandma Zhao was the oldest in the B-rank exam."

My granddaughter said he was "stupid" and started to study on the Internet.

Grandma Zhao was originally a math teacher in elementary school, and she lived with her daughter after she retired.

Before retirement, her lover unfortunately died of lung cancer.

"After my spouse passed away, it didn't matter if I went to school by myself, but after retiring in 2013, I started to feel very lonely and uncomfortable alone, and I couldn't get out." Once, her granddaughter brought the Rubik's Cube back from school. She was the first She was attracted by the first contact. In order to learn how to twist the Rubik's Cube, she pestered her seven or eight-year-old granddaughter to ask questions. When she encountered a formula she didn't understand, she even went directly to the math teacher of her granddaughter. It took more than an hour to wait outside the school.

Why are you interested in Rubik's Cube?

This also has something to do with Grandma Zhao's business.

Grandma Zhao teaches mathematics, and she is always interested in geometric figures. The Rubik's Cube brought back by her granddaughter from the math teacher immediately attracted her.

It's not easy to start from scratch. Grandma Zhao was very interested in learning from the beginning, but she didn't understand anything.

"When my granddaughter taught me, I was wrong in fingering and technique at first, and always pestered her to teach me. She sometimes said that I was'stupid', and I was'angry' when I heard it. No one ever said that I was stupid, and I didn't believe it. I can't learn it, I have to learn it. I have to learn this sentence for her, so I started to check the information on the Internet to learn by myself."

Grandma Zhao has been studying herself for 4 years. After seeing the young man blindly twisting the Rubik's Cube in "The Strongest Brain", the curious Grandma Zhao decided to explore the mystery behind it.

In order to learn the Rubik's Cube well, she sought a professional teacher to study. In the end, in just over a year, she learned the blind twist and set the world's fastest record for blind twist over 60 years old, 3 minutes and 33 seconds.

Now, with the company of Rubik's Cube, Grandma Zhao's life alone is no longer alone.

Grandma Rubik's Cube: Rubik's Cube makes my solitary life rich and colorful

In addition to playing Rubik's Cube, Grandma Zhao also dances square dance at ordinary times, and even takes the sisters who dance the square dance together to play Rubik's Cube.

After learning so many things, the most difficult thing in her eyes is the blind twist of the Rubik's Cube.

"Learning blindfold requires IQ, understanding, and tenacious perseverance. Without perseverance, you can't continue, you can't learn without IQ, and you can't understand without understanding. These three are indispensable."

Before learning blind twist, Grandma Zhao passed the C1 level of the Rubik's Cube and belonged to the Rubik's Cube master.

After learning the blind twist, she has the confidence to take the B grade.

"I think you can succeed with your eyes closed, let alone with your eyes open." In the end, Grandma Zhao passed the B4 grade exam again as she wished.

Next, she also wants to challenge the B1 grade.

"B1 is the ultimate goal of my professional examination. Maybe it's just a dream, maybe it can be realized with hard work. I think so, if I don't work hard and give up directly, then I am definitely not reconciled. I tried my best but I didn't achieve it. It’s about age, so I’m willing to do it."

The Rubik's Cube is more like her partner to Grandma Zhao.

"When I play Rubik's Cube alone, I feel that time flies quickly and my life is very fulfilling. Rubik's Cube has brought me a lot of happiness and made my life alone and colorful."
