[Commentary] The large-scale symphonic group song "Yuhuatai-The Power of Faith" will be staged at the National Grand Theater from April 23 to 24.

On March 18th, the group song's creative team debuted in Beijing to share the creation story with the media.

　　[Comment] The group song is based on the theme of the eulogy of the heroic spirit of Yuhua, and is divided into five chapters: overture, faith, integrity, sentiment and epilogue.

Deng Zhongxia, Yun Daiying, Wu Zhenpeng, Shi Yanfen, Ding Xiang... the Yuhua heroes will hit the audience's hearts under the emotional interpretation of the singers.

In order to accurately interpret this work, the creators have visited Nanjing Yuhuatai Martyrs Memorial Hall many times to learn the spirit of heroes.

Each paragraph is different, and each person has a character and even a story.

Especially after we visited the Yuhuatai Heroes Memorial Hall, even many of our actors came out in tears.

The most important thing that reaches their hearts after the visit is the heroic spirit.

　　[Commentary] In the group song, the story of the lilac martyrs will be told from the perspective of contemporary youth.

Deducer Gong Shuang said frankly that Ding Xiang's bravery and fearlessness shocked her deeply.

　　She is actually a very young Communist Party member. Ding Xiang was brave enough to die just five months after her wedding.

We walked to the Yuhuatai Martyrs Memorial Hall. I saw the photo of Lilac and the story of Lilac. When the impact came before my eyes, I shed tears instantly.

In fact, I am a contemporary youth, but in fact, it has a kind of interlacing time and space. At the same time, I am telling you about Lilac, as if I am also her feeling, spiritually (is) a baptism to me.

　　[Explanation] The music director and composer this time is the famous composer Yin Qing, who has lived and worked in Nanjing for many years.

Therefore, I also incorporate my own understanding of Yuhua's heroic spirit in the works.

　　I think the biggest feature of this group song is that it has a certain drama, and its emotional impact is great.

We performed in Nanjing. After the overture was played, many audiences, including the band players, were very moved.

I felt that there was an image of a past martyr in my heart, and a kind of remembrance of him.

The overall music has 15 songs and an overture, which is orchestral music, mixed chorus, solo, lead, ensemble, and male octet, which is quite shocking at the scene.

　　[Explanation] In addition, the combination of tradition and fashion is emphasized in the arrangement and interpretation of the repertoire, hoping to attract more young audiences to enter the concert hall and listen to the story of the heroic Yuhua.

　　I personally think that the Yuhuatai group song should be more about facing young people, but our music must be accepted by the public, especially by young audiences. It must be contemporary.

Piano is used extensively in the arrangement, and many elements of popular music are used, which is a feeling of combining popular music and traditional music.

For example, like "The Story of Lilac" and "Into Your World", these represent the mentality of today's young people.

I think in this set of songs, there will be several choral works and solo works that will be circulated among the people.
