A dispute among young people has escalated on a playground in Berlin-Mariendorf.
A 15-year-old was injured in the stomach with a knife in Steinhellenweg on Wednesday evening and was operated on in the hospital, the police announced on Thursday.
There is no mortal danger.
Several teenagers had met to clarify a personal matter, it said.
The alleged attacker, a 17-year-old, was sprayed with irritant gas in the face by another person involved after the attack, according to the police.
A police patrol became aware of the incident and arrested the 17-year-old.
The officers found the discarded weapon in a bush.
How many people were involved in the dispute was initially unclear.
