Sharon Osbourne is under fire for defending controversial British presenter Piers Morgan for his comments about Meghan Markle, following the interview with the princely couple.

However, after this unwelcome support, she is accused of racism by journalist Yashar Ali, who claims that the presenter of

would have called her colleague at the time, Julie Chen, "chinetoque" and "restrained" .
She would also have mentioned Sara Gilbert, another former co-presenter, who is lesbian, in terms with very homophobic connotations such as "pussy-eater" and "fish-eater", according to several sources, including the former co-presenter Léa Rimini, as relayed by the NME.
